Simulator Training
Single-pilot PA46 operators learn best when provided with specificity training; that is, training provided in their own aircraft in the environments in which they typically operate. In-aircraft training is effective and safe when provided by an experienced, type-specific instructor working from an approved, well-vetted training outline. (reference: Training PA46 Pilots: A Scalable 5 Step Practical Model Which Can Improve Flight Safety)
The value of simulation for the PA46 pilot is derived from cost savings and risk reduction when training for in-flight emergencies as well as remedial topics such as instrument scan training, radio communication skills, and advanced procedural training when an aircraft is not available. |
The Redbird FMX is a superior-quality, full motion, feature-rich FAA approved Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD) with wrap-around visuals, a fully enclosed cockpit, scenario-based training compatibility and, of course, an electric motion platform with 6 degrees of freedom (pitch, roll, steer, jiggle, heave and sway). The FMX serves up a level of realism that is simply unavailable in other training devices on the market.
